Jekwon (Jay) Yeh, M.D., M.B.A.

Jekwon (Jay) Yeh, M.D., M.B.A., assistant clinical professor and radiation oncologist is the elected community representative of the Medical Executive Committee at City of Hope. He earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine after graduating cum laude from University of California Irvine with a degree in molecular biology and biochemistry.
Dr. Yeh is a genitourinary cancer specialist and currently serves as a chairman on Elsevier’s ClinicalPath Genitourinary Cancer Team. He is responsible for reviewing the most recent published scientific data and establishing national treatment guidelines for prostate, bladder and testicular cancers. Dr. Yeh also serves on the genitourinary and head and neck cancer committees at City of Hope, where he evaluates promising leading-edge clinical trials.
Highly skilled in all forms of radiation therapy, Dr. Yeh specializes in the treatment of not only prostate, but also lung, gastrointestinal, brain, breast and other cancers. He has focused his research on minimizing the side effects of radiation therapy.
Dr. Yeh has extensive expertise in all forms of radiation therapy. As a high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy specialist, Dr. Yeh has performed well over 1,000 HDR treatments for prostate, breast, cervical and endometrial cancer.
Dr. Yeh has an extensive background in research and has publications in major peer-reviewed journals, including the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics, American Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Brachytherapy. He has also presented numerous research studies at international scientific conferences.
